Avocations (Hobbies)
Definition
An applicant's hobbies and personal activities — another name for hobbies is avocations. High-risk avocations (skydiving, bungee jumping, racing, hang gliding, scuba, mountain climbing) can lead an insurer to decline coverage or require a special questionnaire detailing the extent of participation.
