Noncancelable vs Guaranteed Renewable
Definition
Both guarantee renewal to a stated age as long as premiums are paid. Noncancelable: premium is ALSO locked forever (preferred occupations). Guaranteed renewable: insurer may raise premiums by class only — the more common form, especially for higher-morbidity jobs.
Exam tip
Noncancelable = frozen premium. Guaranteed renewable = class-wide raises allowed, never individual. Recycled on every exam.
