Fraternal Benefit Society (Florida)

An incorporated society, order, or supreme lodge conducted solely for the benefit of its members and their beneficiaries that: has no capital stock, is not-for-profit, operates on a lodge system with ritualistic forms of work, has a representative form of government, and provides for payment of benefits to members under Florida law. Members typically share common ethnic, religious, or vocational affiliations (e.g., the Police and Firemen's Insurance Association).

A members-only club that also insures its members — lodge meetings, rituals, and no shareholders anywhere.
