Unlicensed Entity

Definition
Any individual or company required to be licensed under Florida law for an activity but not so licensed. Licensure is one of Florida's key consumer-protection strategies, so there are harsh penalties both for operating as an unlicensed entity and for assisting one in Florida insurance transactions — including the CFO ground of "knowingly accepting insurance business from an unlicensed individual."
In plain English
No license, no business — and helping the unlicensed is punished like being unlicensed.
