Mortality Table (CSO Table)

Definition
A table showing the probability of death at each age (deaths per thousand). Sourced from the Commissioners Standard Ordinary (CSO) Mortality Table; must be based on a large cross-section over a long period.
Exam tip
Mortality = frequency of DEATH. Morbidity = incidence of DISEASE (health insurance). Higher rates = higher premiums.
