Prescription Drug Databases
Definition
Databases revealing an applicant's medication history, which tells underwriters a lot about health status — e.g., five years of blood-pressure medication indicates a managed but ongoing condition. Clients should disclose ALL regularly taken medications, even ones they consider unimportant.
In plain English
The pharmacy paper trail — it can surface conditions an applicant forgot (or chose not) to mention.
