Definition
A statement believed true to the best of the applicant's knowledge. NOT part of the contract; matters only to the extent it's material. Applicant statements on life/health apps are representations.
Exam tip
Warranty = guaranteed true, part of the contract. Representation = believed true, not part of the contract.
