Social Insurance Supplement (SIS) Rider
Definition
Pays a monthly benefit when SSDI or workers' comp is delayed, denied, or pays less than the rider amount. Insured must apply for all government benefits available. Cuts premium cost by making part of the coverage contingent on social insurance failing to pay.
