Archer MSA & Medicare MSA

Definition
Archer MSA: the HSA's pilot-program ancestor for small employers (≤50 employees) and the self-employed — grandfathered since 2008, contributions limited to a % of the deductible, employer OR employee contributes in a year (not both), 20% penalty on non-qualified use. Medicare MSA: a Medicare Advantage (Part C) HDHP where Medicare deposits funds into the account annually.
