Notification of Termination (Group Master Policy)
Definition
Every insurer must notify each certificate holder (member) when the master policy has expired or been canceled. The insurer may act through the employer (policyowner) by notifying it and requesting that certificate holders be told; the policyowner must then notify each certificate holder as soon as practicable.
