Part A: Skilled Nursing Facility Benefit

Definition
Requires a prior 3-day inpatient hospital stay for the same condition. Covers up to 100 days per benefit period: days 1–20 paid in full, days 21–100 carry a daily copay (12.5% of the Part A deductible). Custodial care is NEVER covered.
