Residual Disability
Definition
A proportional benefit while working part-time with an income loss of at least 20%: lose 60% of income → collect 60% of the total disability benefit.
Exam tip
⚠️ The LOSS is a % of INCOME; the BENEFIT is that same % of the TOTAL DISABILITY BENEFIT — not of income. Partial = flat 50%; residual = proportional.
